All products offered by handy-fashions.com are made of a special fabric. It is equipped with outstanding technical qualities. The fabric was tested scientifically with outstanding results. The diagram below shows the fabrics shielding ability in "dB" at a frequency of 200 MHz and up to 10 GHz. This is the range of frequencies most relevant for mobile phones and other modern communication technology. "dB" is a value that expresses the shielding effect. This effect can also be expressed in per cent. The relation between "dB" and a percentage expression is also shown in the diagram below.
Test conducted with our Mobile Cap
Our Mobile Cap was tested by the governmental radiation protection center in Finland (STUK). These tests confirmed that a person who is using the Mobile Cap during cell phone communication, is protected against phone radiation by 80%. To reach a 99,999% protection, the whole body had to be covered with our material. Seen from this perspective, the values for the Mobile Cap are excellent. The results where published in the largest newspaper in Finland "Helsingin Sanomat" in January 2003.
