About the fabric that shields microwaves: Through a special process, pure silver is put onto the fibers of the fabric. Under a magnifying glass the fabric looks like a fine and smooth silver grid. Pure silver metal gives the fabrique its special silver metal shine as well as its outstanding technical qualities. Since silver is a natural material, small changes in colour may occur through wearing after a while. These changes in colour are no reason for complaints. They give the fabric an even more beautiful patina, and they have no negative influence on the technical qualities. The fabrique is best washed by hand with little washing powder in tepid water and is ironed like silk.
